The Principle

The heat pump compresses the refrigerant to make it hotter on the side to be warmed and releases the pressure on the side where heat is absorbed. Maximum energy for heating comes from the atmosphere & only a fraction of energy comes from the electricity. In electrical powered Heat pumps the heat transferred can be three or four times larger than the electrical power consumed giving the system a COP of 3 or 4 as opposed to one for conventional electrical resistance heater.

  • The Heat Exchanger for heating water is high efficiency tube in tube in copper material.
  • The evaporator is with hydrophilic aluminium fins & copper tubes with inner grooves for turbulence of the refrigerant for best heat exchange.
  • The Evaporator Fan is Low noise High Efficiency Axial fan.
  • Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) and Four Way Defrosting Valve are manufactured by Saginomiya, Japan / Danfoss, Holland.
  • The machine can be controlled using a user friendly touchscreen that can be installed on any easily accessible area away from the main unit which carries extra cable 5-8 metres long.
  • The heat pumps are available in powder coated steel and stainless steel.
  • All heat pumps carry one year warranty from the date of commissioning or 18 months from the date of supply whichever is earlier.
  • Self diagnostic control panel monitors and troubleshoots heat pump functions to ensure safe and reliable operation throughout.
